KITCHEN / MUDROOM ADDITION

A colonial style house with a great back yard lacked a functional kitchen and a way to interact with outside space during social gatherings.  Working with the home owners, I designed an addition to the rear of the house that included a large kitchen and mud room.  I also redesigned the interior of the house so that the kitchen opened up onto the family room.  This allowed us to create a well planned, functional, and beautiful kitchen, which created a seamless transition between the family room, the kitchen, and the social areas in the rear yard.
